The event that was longed for had finally arrived. The Salvation Festival is finally here! Members of the Jesus Nation in Pietermaritzburg gathered uptown in prayer for the festivities planned for the day.
Together the congregation pleaded to God that through this festival, may souls be won,and lives touched. Boards in hand, we hit the streets of Pietermaritzburg excited to remind people how much the Lord loves them. Flyers were given to every corner, and cars passing by that hooted at our beautiful parade. Sons and daughters of Major 1 soldiered on in the scorching heat, sunhats on,determined to win souls for Jesus. Songs of praise filled the town as we proudly sang and danced for our God as we paraded the streets. Our Apostle did what he does best as he prophesied and prayed for the people. Youth magnets, born to attract, attracted many eyes as they danced, rapped, and performed monologues about the works of God of Major 1.
The Tribe of Asher showed the fruits of the spirit, kindness, as they gave the needy a tasty meal to feed their hungry stomachs. Apostle Felixosis took center stage as we prayed for the souls of Pietermaritzburg. We ended the festival with a bang as we sang and danced along to music with the people of Pietermaritzburg.
It was a Soul winning festival to remember!
